About the studio.

Woodside Studio is named after my family house in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. I spent summers there during my childhood, and many years thereafter. It is a place where my father did a lot of his photography, and where I started mine. The studio is located in Easthampton MA .

The studio's goal is to produce high quality images, that fulfill all the client's needs. That may sound a little simplistic, but what could be more important? I have done photography for websites, the pipe organ industry, advertising, architecture, magazines and events. The balance of my work is done freelance. Prints of selected works are available . I also produce a small line of hardwood frames.

Since 2000 I have been shooting almost one hundred percent with digital equipment. I feel strongly that cameras are tools. The medium, whether film or digital, is dependent on the skill of the user, and the quality of the tool. Digital gives me full control over all aspects of the color workflow; something that was at best hard to come by during the days of film.
